Miriam.....a leader.....miriam.......a visionary......
Born during the bitter Egyptian exile, Miriam prophesized that her brother Moshe would save the jewish nation...... she watched as her mother put her baby brother in a basket on the Nile River....she believed he would be saved......she anticipated the redemption of her people.... she prepared tambourines with the women..... she sang a song of celebration..... "then miriam the prophetess, aaron's sister, took a tambourine in her hand and led all the women as they played their tambourines."
